January – February 2018
New horizons. After an incredibly busy and diversified year, after travelling all around the globe to promote Barrage, Laura is back at her desk, developping two new projects : a documentary for the series routwaissgro, shooting to be set to start no later than this spring, and a new feature film, Maret, that has already been granted writing funds by Filmfund Luxembourg !

If you missed Barrage at Palm Springs International Film Festival, there will still be a few other occasions to catch it in 2018. Just keep track on facebook !
Novembre 2017
Around and about. At the beginning of Novembre, Barrage will be screened at the Mallorca International Film Festival. It will also be in Competition at the Französische Filmtage in Tübingen/Stuttgart, Germany.
Laura herself will attend the Canadian Premiere of the film, taking place in Montreal during the Cinemania Festival, before flying out to Los Angeles for a special Oscars screening organised by the European Film Promotion at Dick Clark’s.
At the end of Novembre, she will travel to Italy, in the company of main actress Lolita Chammah, to attend the Torino Film Festival where Barrage will be screened within the International Competition section.
Septembre – Octobre 2017
Barrage Luxembourg’s entry for Oscars 2018 The local selection commitee has indeed chosen Barrage to represent Luxembourg in the race for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars 2018. Great news!
After its release in France and Luxembourg (still showing in some cinemas!), Barrage will have its UK premiere on Septembre 25th within Raindance Film Festival in London.
Octobre is very busy, with screenings at the Molodist Film Festival in Kiev, the Mumbai International Film Festival in India and the International Fine Arts Film Festival of Dominican Republic.
In Octobre, the film will also be at the Chicago International Film Festival for its US premiere, and in competition at the Festival do Rio, before being released in Brazil by Pandora Filmes!
