More festivals for Barrage
After its excellent reception at the Berlinale and a great Luxembourgish premiere within Luxfilmfest, Barrage will be in Competition at the Titanic International Film Festival in Budapest as well as at the Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea. It will also be screened in the Festival’s Favourites section of the Vilnius International Film Festival and in Panorama at Bafici, Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival.

Thrilling news for Laura’s new feature film Barrage, as it will have its world premiere at this year’s Berlinale, within the Forum, "the most daring section of the festival"!

Set around the Haute-Sûre lake in Luxembourg, Barrage is a coproduction between Luxembourg, Belgium and France, and brings together Lolita Chammah, Isabelle Huppert and Thémis Pauwels.

World sales are handled by Paris-based Luxbox.

It's a picture lock for Barrage. And what's more is that the film has been selected to be part of this year's TorinoFilmLab Coming Soon work-in-progress showcase section, to be held during the Meeting Event in Turin (22-25 Novembre). Laura's all female drama, starring Lolita Chammah, Thémis Pauwels and Isabelle Huppert, is one of the seven films to be presented (throughout an excerpt) to a large audience of sales agents and festival representatives.
